Strand: Continuous Improvement
State Priority 4: Dashboard - Academic Indicator for ELA and Mathematics.
Objectives: Participants will gain an understanding of the distance from level 3 for the academic indicator as and how it relates to the percent score of students that met or exceeded standards.
Participants will understand and be able to use tools and activities with their own stakeholders to support the growth and engagement of their stakeholders. Application of the strategies will be utilized at the district, school, classroom, and student level.
Strategies:
• Data analysis using SBAC data,
• Participating in an activity that identifies district, school, classroom and student distance from level 3.
• Graphing student scores to create a classroom visual
• Using a tool to find district and school distance from level 3
